ABOUT HAMPSTEAD MUSIC SCHOOL
At Hampstead Music School, we make learning music fun and inspiring for every student to achieve their full potential. We are committed in giving a firm, technical foundation whilst making music enjoyable and creative for each individual.
All of our teachers are highly trained and qualified. We are here to share our in-depth expertise to each student at every level. We can address a wide spectrum of learning styles and understand that everyone has a different end goal. We will show you how much fun learning music can be!
INSTRUMENTS WE TEACH
Lessons can be taken in following musical instruments: piano, keyboard, violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, clarinet, recorder, french horn, saxophone, singing, drums, ukulele, music theory and music technology.
AGE & LEVEL
We welcome students upwards of age 3. Lessons are tailored individually to suit the needs of each student's level, age and their goal. Our teachers focus on developing music fundamentals - technique, tone, rhythm and melody. During the lesson we also cover scales & arpeggios, harmonic analysis, sight-reading, sight-singing, musical forms, styles, aural training and music history depending on the age and level.
Once you contact us with your interest, we try to match the student with the ideal teacher based on age, musical interests, experience and learning style. We then arrange a trial lesson where you can meet your teacher and make sure that the fit is right. During this lesson, your teacher assess the student’s personal goals, musical interests and learning style.
We organise concerts regularly in local venues where students can showcase their achievements. Please follow this link to view photos from our last student concert.
