Michael

Michael has been an experienced violin & viola tutor for over ten years, specialised in training young musicians from all levels and background. He strives to be a supportive and encouraging teacher to ensure his pupils love the instrument they are learning and be able to reach their fullest potential as a musician. Michael’s students regularly attend on-stage performances as well as ABRSM & Trinity examinations, music festivals and competitions.

Beyond his teaching routine, Michael is a dedicated orchestral performer who worked with several chamber and orchestral groups. Michael was a guest viola player of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong before residing to London. He also played for the Hong Kong String Orchestra and the Hong Kong Camerata Strings during his time in Hong Kong.

Michael gained his Master of Music from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London as well as his Bachelor of Arts (Music Major) from University of Hong Kong.
